This week's assignment is to post a photo with the topic: HANDS.

The photograph above is a detail of a larger image of the
woman who washed my clothes by hand every week in Brazil.
Find the entire photograph and an accompanying story
on an earlier post HERE.

"Busy hands will not find trouble." (Proverb)

"A man is not paid for having a head and hands,
but for using them." (Elbert Hubbard)

"Put your future in good
hands - your own."
(Author Unknown)

"Chiefly the mold of a man's fortune is in his own
hands."
(Francis Bacon)

"Remember, if you ever need a helping
hand, you'll find
one at the end of your arm. . . . As you grow older you
will discover that you have two hands. One for helping
yourself, the other for helping others."  (Audrey Hepburn)

  1. this is a good take on the topic. I had a nana who taught me how to wash my clothes and I kind of miss her now.

  3. Wow, that's intensive work there! Honest work but still, I have to admit, work I rather leave to somebody else... or machines!
